Day 1
1) How does Greg feel about writing a diary?
Greg is a little bit angry, because he don't want to admit that he will be writting a diary, Greg called it a journal. He's afraid that some
jerks could catch him carrying the diary and get the wrong idea. Also he said that the diary was Mom's idea, if he writes in diary a little bit each day, he get out of one chore on Saturdays.
2) What are the reasons Greg agreed on writing his diary?
The reasons Greg agreed to write a diary, is because he figure later on when he been rich and famous he will have better things to do than answer people stupid questions all day long so he will give the diary to the people. And also he get out of one chore on Saturdays the toilets scrubbing.
3) What is Greg's opinion on the seating in class?
Greg's opinion on the seating in class is that on the first day of school, you got to be real careful of where you sit. Because it will be your permanent seat. And if you don't choose a good seat, you will stuck with a bunch of morons.
4) Why sitting next to girls does not seem a very nice option to Greg?
Because girl's don't let you copy of them, which could be a real problem in a class like Pre Algebra also they can fool you.
Day 2
* Tell in your own words what happened to Greg on the first day of his summer vacation.
On the first day of Greg's summer vacation his brother Rodrick set Greg's clock and pulled the blinds shut then waked him up in the middle of the night and dressed up in school clothes. Rodrick said to Greg that he slept through the whole summer. When he was ready and already ate breakfast, Greg's Dad came downstairs and find him eating Cheerios at 3 a.m, Dad was astonished. When Greg explained Dad that Rodrick lied him about first day of school they both went to Rodrick's room, but he was sleeping like nothing had happened. So now Dad thinks that Greg is an idiot and a liar. Also Dad has been real suspicious around him, like he will turning into a bad kid or something.
Day 3
*Do you think it would be nice to have Greg in your class? Why? (Consider his behaviour with P.U.)
It wouldn't be nice to have Greg in my class, because he often starts everything and goes wrong. But also he looks funny and friendly.
*How does Greg feel about his younger brother?
Greg is a little bit angry for Manny, because his little brother always find a way to destroy valuable things if you don't keep it away from him. The only good thing about having a little brother is that now, Rodrick doesn't make Greg sell chocolate bars for school fundraisers any more.
Day 4
*What's up with the Cheese Touch?
The cheese was still at the same place as it was at the end of last school year. It's moldy and nasty and people have been trying to avoid it. If you get touched with the Cheese Touch then you have it until you pass it on to somebody else.
*Why did Greg tape his fingers?
Greg taped his fingers together, because he wanted protect himself from the Cheese Touch, for the last couple weeks of school.
Day 5
*Does Greg enjoy Saturdays?
Greg was enjoying his Saturday, but his Dad wakes up at 6:00 in the morning and disturbs Greg's sleep.
*Why wasn't his best friend mentioned till this day?
Greg have a pretty good reason why he didn't mentioned his best friend Rowley till this day. Everything started when Rowley kind of ticked Greg off on the first day of school. Rowley asked Greg if he want to come over to his house and play. But some of kids heard that and started call them ''nerds''.
Day 6
* What worries Greg? Why?
Greg worries about Bishop Garrigan High School because Mr. Swann tells Dad about that and he seemed really interested. But Greg doesn't want to go there because that school is only for boys and he wouldn't survive the first day at Bishop Garrigan. He want to go to Crossland High School where there are boys and girls.
Day 7
* Does Greg enjoy his mornings before school? Why?
Greg doesn't enjoy mornings before school, because his first though was that is still summer vacation, which he thinks is a really bad way to start a school day.
* How did Greg try to get into his preferred reading group?
At the end of last year Greg did he's best to muff up his screening test also he didn't try to hard up on his end-of-the-year essay to make sure he didn't get put in the hard group.
What are your feelings and impressions about this book?
I really like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid, because there was a lot of funny moments and it was interesting to read someone diary. Maybe, I will read more than 7 days.
